The Maison des Sciences de l’Homme et de la Société was founded and registered by the Sofia City Court on 10 May 1995. It was created with the organizational and financial support of the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (Paris), whose Director Maurice Aymard was a member of the MSHS Board of Trustees and Scientific Commission.
The supreme governing body of the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme et de la Société is the Board of Trustees, composed of well known members of the international academic community with considerable experience and comeptences in all branches of the socials sciences and the humanities.
